If you don’t mind a bit of a wait, you’ll have one more electric vehicle to choose from besides the GMC HUMMER EV Pickup and SUV. GMC will soon add the Sierra Denali EV to its lineup.
Currently, we don’t have too many details on this model’s features and capabilities yet. We did get a glimpse of the front grille of this new ride, thanks to a brief teaser clip that GMC recently released. One thing we do know is that GMC will debut the electric Sierra Denali next year. It will be built on the Ultium Platform and assembled at GM’s Factory Zero Assembly Plant in Detroit, Michigan.
According to GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, the Sierra Denali EV as a hybrid between the reputable Denali trim and an exciting new zero-emission product. “[It’s an] opportunity to evolve Sierra’s capabilities and technologies, as afforded by transitioning to an all-electric propulsion while also elevating the luxurious design and comfort associated with Denali.”
