In September 2021, Cadillac will begin taking reservations for the brand’s first fully electric vehicle, the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ. This long-range, high-performance luxury SUV should be available in early 2022 and will come with a wide variety of exciting technological advances.
LYRIQ will deliver more than 300 miles of driving range per charge and produce an estimated 340 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. Fast charging at a public station should take about 10 minutes for 76 miles of range, and 52 miles of range per hour of home charging.
LYRIQ will include Regen on Demand technology controlled by a paddle on the steering wheel that lets drivers control braking. This regenerative braking technology delivers the most efficient electric driving experience. The LYRIQ will also include Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driving technology, as well as upgraded noise-canceling tech.
The centerpiece of LYRIQ’s interior is a 33-inch diagonal LED screen. The curved screen captures the attention and incorporates the information and entertainment clusters.
The exterior features LYRIQ’s signature black crystal grille, standard 20-inch wheels, and a choice of Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic for the paint job.
